Nerd Party

As you all should know, today was nerd day. In honor of this holiday we threw a party! It was probably the funnest college party I've ever had. Here is how it went down: The only requirement of our guests was that they dressed up (or down) in a nerdy fashion. I was embarrassed how many nerdy things I actually had here at college. I could have made anything work! Ha. Well, we had a good laugh getting ourselves nerdified. Sharee and I set the mood of the party by having cheeze-its and carrot sticks for our guests to munch on. Also there was the Disney Princess best of CD playing in the background. We played the game where you put the name of a person on everyones backs and you have to guess who you have. We used weird people like yoda, Hermione Granger, ET, Bill Nye and others. Then, we had a spelling bee. It was intense. Next was a multiplication worksheet contest. Everyone took it very seriously. The first five people done got Harry Potter tattoos as prizes. The final game we played was pictionary, using scientific terms. The most fantastic thing was how into it everyone got. We all were way too good at playing the nerd role. It was fun to go back to the days when we lacked severely in social skills and girls had cooties. Math and science were cool topics of conversation as well as Harry Potter and last nights homework.
