Random Stuff I Have Learned

With endless hours at hand spent sitting at a desk, occasionally directing people to the bathroom, to a book, or to a pair of headphones, I am left with endless hours to stare at a computer screen and do what ever I desire. During the school year, this is an incredible blessing because I can just work on homework, or else appreciate the mind break. Also during the school year there are  just more people to help with more interesting questions. During the Summer, without classes and with the GRE out of my way, I honestly have nothing that I should be doing at the desk. In the meantime, I've learned some great things. Here are some of my favorites.
  1. The LSAT is more entertaining than is the GRE. I much prefer the logical brain teasers to straight vocabulary. It is too bad that I don't want to go to law school! What a waste!
  2. New favorite random word- FALLOW: a piece of uncultivated land
  3. Any question you ever have can be answered here.
  4. My favorite places to read the news are NYtimes, CNN, and KSL. Each has a slightly different perspective on what goes on in the world.
  5. I love to cook and find cool recipes. I love this easy black bean hummus, with these homemade spicy pita chips.  The combo is a new fav.
Well, that is all for now folks!
